Recently renovated museum, now definitely worth seeing. Good overview of Freud's life and work, and even though not much is left of the original flat the museum does a very good job at sparking the imagination.

It is wonderful experience to be in the apartment where Sigmund Freud lived and worked. The museum is not very big in size but is enormous in terms of its importance. The museum has even well preserved some of the belongings of Freud that he used during his lifetime. A portion of the museum is being renovated and the renovation work is expected to complete in 2020. Keep your expectation low, you will enjoy the Freud museum.
After extensive renovation, the museum is finally open to the public again! Much to see and experience, for the first time it is possible to see all private rooms, including Freud's sleeping room. The architecture of the new museum has been designed by Hermann Czech, absolutely worth seeing!
I was so saddened by this experience. I came to Vienna with little purpose other than visiting this museum and one other. I would estimate the size of the venue to be around 600sq ft, split between 2 1/2 rooms. For 9, I’m not sure most would feel the worth in the visit. If you do visit this location during this time. You must watch the video, It’s a biography of Freud -commentary done by his daughter Anna Freud.
Very interesting. Recomendable to people to admire the life of Freud and a lot of his history , his achievements and thoughts . I heard they’re planning a new place or remodeling. I will hope to come back last time was more than a year ago.
Well, it's definitely cheap, because it costs 3 euros if you're under 18. In the other hand there are just 3 rooms, the first one shows the waiting room in Freud's house, the second one shows small object, photos and various stuff from him. The last one shows a movie about him. In the hand I believe it's worth the price.
Very small museum with little information about his psychoanalysis theory. For 9 entry fee you expect a lot more. As the current building is under renovation, it's not even in his actually place of work. Overall disappointing and worth spending your money elsewhere, and do a quick Google search into Freud yourself
Small but very informative place. It is hard to find the right door. Then you have to go one level up then another search for the correct door!! You can use your own phone as a hide and the content is very informative. Remaining are well preserved and labeled. The place is small so get ready to be squeezed.
