A lovely hotel in a very nice place. The hosts are very friendly. They offer very tasty breakfast. The hosts have also considerately prepared a lot of booklets, Google map locations for the guests to get to the interesting local attractions more easily. What really cool are the Hochkönig cards, with which we can enjoy the Sommerbahn free of charge as many times as we want during the time we visited (in June). Would highly recommend this hotel and this region to any guests interested to spend vacation within beautiful mountains. One bonus, if you enjoy driving in a mountain, cutting every S-shaped curves, Hochkönig is definitely a good choice.

We loved it so much in winter, we came back for a summer holiday! The apartment is spacious, with a lovely sunny balcony, and in the centre of the village. We owners are very friendly and helpful and gave us some really good tips on where to walk in the area. The area is beautiful - fantastic views, and we loved the swimming pool in the village!

If this property has come up as one of your choices BOOK IT NOW! Being an experienced traveler and frequent airbnb'er I have had many different experiences but this one ranks at the very top! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. Jerome and Allison are very thoughtful and considerate hosts and truely enhanced our experience of this region of Austria. The accommodations were perfect, sparkling clean and plenty of room for our family of four. There are additional services they offer and I highly recommend that you include these in your stay. Breakfast is served in the basement with a lovely view of the garden and was simple yet fabulous I'd definitely purchase this option at least once during your stay. They also offer laundry service that was also a great convenience. The village has everything great resturants and pubs and a remarkable bakery (Allison and Jerome offer bread service don't miss that either). Everywhere we went there was clean, friendly and convenient. The location is ideal we did day trips to Zell Am See, Bertchgaden and Hallstat. On the way out we stopped at another recommended place to experience Austrian Farm life and that was a great way to end our trip to that region. Thank you Jerome and Allison for making this a five star experience.
