It's a kind of Vienna Woods fairy tale in a time when aristocrats created artificial romantic settings. Nowadays they just hunt. So most of the park is closed to the public but what remains is nice.

Beautiful location, you can walk around for hours and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Great for kids because of all the animals but also as there is a playground which is big and well equipped. However, the signs indicating the different paths and trails that you can follow should be improved.

Very pretty area. Huge number of picnic benches everywhere, even in the castle ruins. The castle ruins alone were worth the trip for us.

Very nice place. The only negative side is that all animals are located very close to each other. Was hard to motivate kids to walk around :) But the place overall is very nice! :)

Nice place to bring kids. Not crowded park where wild boars are running around. Children playground with a small cafe is in the middle of the park. Meals offered are very very basic but tasty. You can also make a grill.

Lovely experience, particularly if you bring children! I never got to experience before wild boars running freely around me. It is not advised to pat them, but just watching them run around us less than a meter away was a fantastic experience. There's more to see, but the baby wild boars were the highlight of our trip at Naturpark Sparbach.
