It's a nice way to have an overview from the top of the city the wayup is very smooth ,the architecture is amazing the view from the top is great
Can definitely recommend doing this when visiting Innsbruck. It’s worth it to go all the way up to Hafelekar as the view is absolutely amazing from there. In total you have to take 3 different cable cars to reach the top. Takes about 30 minutes to reach the top. Best to go on a clear and sunny day. A return ticket costs 38 per person (adult price).
Amazing experience....Takes you to the top of Innsbruck with stunning views.... Unfortunately it was cloudy when I tried it but the experience made up for it....Try it on a clear day and the experience is unbeatable....Also attempt it in the morning,it gives you more time to experience it as the last car from the top is at 17:00
The highest point in Innsbruck. Very beautiful mountain views all around. The snow was very thick while we were there at middle of May. The weather was really good and clear sky. We got the Innsbruck 24 hour city card that covers the cable car fee. If you are in Innsbruck, I would recommend to visit this place.
Price is 36.50 round trip to the top (Nordkette) but its worth the money. The view is so beautiful and there are many stops along the way, each with their own restaurant of cafe. You could easily spend the whole day on the cable route as one of the stops even has a nice zoo. Alternatively, you could also buy tickets that goes to a specific station and pay a lesser price. But Nordkette, being the peak of Innsbruck, is really gorgeous. Be prepared to dress warm, depending on the season, and be sure to wear the proper shoes as there is still about a 10minute hike to the very top from the last cable car station.
An amazing view. Very doable with small kids, but maybe not as fun for them. At 2000m a wonderful place to rest and play.
Great experience of going up to the 2000 meters in less than half an hour. It costs 32 both ways and probably good option for those who never were in the mountains, but it is nothing outstanding really. The restaurant on the top of the mountain is empty and doesn’t look very appealing. Not really much to do on the top if you are not free-riding or going for a hike, just few pictures and that’s it. Better go in good shoes it is very slippery on the top.
