Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Radner Univ. Prof. Dr. Radner began training in ophthalmology and optometry in Linz at the vision school in the Barmherzigen Brüder hospital and then in the general eye department in the Barmherzige Schwestern hospital in Linz. In 1994 he moved to the University Clinic for Ophthalmology and Optometry in Vienna and deepened his eye surgery training at the \Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University\ (Baltimore, USA) for one and a half years. He received numerous awards for his work as an ophthalmologist and for the development of the \Radner reading boards\, which are used worldwide in various languages. Among them are twice (1997 and 2000) the \Croma Pharma Prize\ of the \Austrian Ophthalmic Society\. He was also awarded the \Prof. Dr. Pilgerstorfer Prize\ and received a Schrödinger scholarship in 1998. Very good experience with Dr. Radner. They took me as a walk in and the wait was actually much shorter than I imagined. Dr. Radner and his receptionist both spoke excellent English which is helpful if you are an ex-pat or traveling.
