Real Italian food, really good. Good service. Nice outdoor area in warm weather. Pizza was very good, although I prefer the Neapolitan version but Germans don't like those so I understand they have the ormal\ pizza with crunchy crust.

We have been visiting the area around Kufstein for 20 years now and are familiar with many of the local restaurants. The Piccolo is an old favourite, with excellent food, service and ambience. I really like to visit in the summer when you can sit outside, eat, drink and admire the views. What prompted this review was our first visit after my son was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease, which means that he can only eat gluten-free food. Normally, this means a disappointing visit to any pizzeria. The Piccolo, on the other hand, can make any of its pizzas with a gluten-free base. My son was delighted with his food, saying it was the best pizza he's eaten out of all the gluten-free options since his diagnosis. We will definitely be returning. I can also recommend the Italian Merlot red wine!
