It’s a nice place to eat fish. Service is not the best. A bit expensive. There is no menu, so you need to ask and you don’t have too many options.

My husband and I went here on the recommendation of a good friend back home in San Francisco. The restaurant is a cozy place and look inviting. We arrived early not realizing restaurant opens at 6 pm for dinner. It was cold and raining and the restaurant personnel knew we were outside waiting and yet did not offer us anything, no menu, no offer of wine or no offer to sit inside where it is warm and dry. A little past 6, we walk into restaurant and they acted we were not even there. They treated us if we cannot afford to eat there. Once seated, they offer very little help with the menu and did not offer any suggestions. The food arrived, was good enough but on a salty side. When the bill arrived, there was a small charge for tap water, but the big surprise was that they wouldn't take a credit card even though the visa and mastercard logos appeared on their door. They said their credit card machine was broken but did not tell us until we tried to pay. Overall, it seems they really did not want us as customers.

The lunch special is 9,80 and is phenomenal. Everything else is a bit pricey but it is some of the best food I have ever eaten.

A store in two parts. Firstly a fishmongers with fresh fish and seafood. Secondly a simple but tasty restaurant serving pasta dishes using the fresh ingredients from part 1. Also excellent fritti misti. Short wine list but reasonable prices also. Great for simple meals with friends. Plastic plates and cups so avoid first dates!
