Very kind and helpful staff, the hostel is quite near to the city centre. I recommend to all who don't mind staying in a simple room with common bathrooms and toilets (which have been newly redecorated and clean), at a very reasonable price (compared to Viannese accommodation prices).

A bit poor even for a hostel room. There is nothing in the room but beds, a window and a sink. No soap to wash your hands with, no curtains on the window to block the sunlight, no shelf or any place to place your stuff in but the floor. Small towels provided only on request. Wlan not very good.

It is slightly outside of the city but with the excellent public transport of Vienna it didn't feel like, the tram and metro were so close you were in the city in a number of minutes. The staff are among the nicest I've come across, when we mixed up our arrival days and came a day before our reservation. The hostel was entirely booked out, but the guy at reception set up camp beds for us to stay in in a spare room, for no cost at all. Everyone was helpful and friendly at all times. The hostel itself is lovely, a basic 2 bed room is what to expect, which is a lot more private that most hostels of that price. The one and only thing is that it doesn't seem to be the most social of hostels, in that the rooms are semi private and there is almost no one in the common areas, but if you are just looking for some basic accommodation in Vienna I could not fault this place

Very nice hotel/dormitory in the center of Vienna, especially if you're on a budget. The rooms are basic, one bed, one desk and one shelve. In the beginning I was quite worried about the shared toilets and bathroom, but these are really well serviced, so in the end it turned out to be no problem at all. You definitely get what you expect for the price. • The best thing is the location in the middle of the city - You can reach almost all important locations via foot or bike in a few minutes. • The staff is friendly and well organized, they are willing to support and advise you whenever you ask. • The yard is very beautiful and you can always meet nice people there. • You can order additional breakfast (all you can eat) for 5,50, so you can start smooth and easy in the morning. All in all I've enjoyed my trip to Vienna and I'm totally satisfied with my stay at Porzellaneum!
