Faced with the development of recent years ReeMon Paulus asked himself a question: Can I contribute something positive? How can I a message around the globe- to people of all religions, races, sexes and creeds? Unlike many other singer-songwriters ReeMon Paulus experienced what war really means in person. As a member of the old Assyrian ethnicity (today a Christian minority in Iraq), half of his family already had to flee to Austria in the 1980s due to the war between Iran and Iraq. During the gulf war in 1992, ReeMon also manage to escape to Austria. In Austria, ReeMon learned how different cultures can coexist with each other. He learned the crucial role of a common language and how different sets of values can still exist alongside in a community. Until his escape from Iraq, Reemon was head of the church choir in Bagdad/Al Dora. However, young ReeMon’s true passion was and still is composing contemporary music. A successful stylist with his own salon in Vienna, ReeMon Paulus realized he has the ability to inspire and connect people. This experience also led to the creation of his debut single, “AH YA DENYA” (“Oh Life!”), which ReeMon wrote out of inner turmoil. He describes his very personal emotions about the events of the world and pours them into an artistic outlet. Purposely released in Arabic (with translations in 35 languages), the song knows no borders, neither language nor religion. It is a world hit, from the heart of Vienna. Peace is possible - we just have to walk a step toward each other and make peace with others in our mind.
