Coffee, breakfast and desert are just as delicious as in their sister location in Chiemseegasse just 5 minutes away on foot. If one of them is a bit crowded, you're bound to find a seat at the other. The outside sitting area is particularly relaxing with some greenery and a fountain you can sit right beside.

Similar to Berlin’s Five Elephant and London’s Grind, Salzburg’s 220 Grad opened its new spot transforming a small industry building to a poetic combination of nostalgia and modernism. It is not only a heaven for coffee lovers, but also a big treatment for architecture nerds. The only pity was my friend and I didn’t get to enjoy the little courtyard with a pond, it looked so nice. Hidden behind the hill hosted the famous castle on top, this location probably serves more locals than tourists with caffeinated options, food and baked stuff. I was told they do very good cakes, sadly my stomach didn’t have enough space for that. It was a very warm and sunny day when we visited so I unsurprisingly ordered cold brew. I suspect it’s brewed in a more concentrated manner so it’s served with ice cubes. The chocolate tasty dominated the sip while a subtle fruity flavour slided in afterward, more a traditional approach to interpret the third wave coffee fashion, probably not as hipstery as Berlin but still really good. I will definitely come back when I visit Salzburg next time, it’s an extraordinary place to spend a chilled afternoon.
Although we only took take away coffee the experience war great, and I recommend hi ng there.
Best coffee in Salzburg we ever tried!
Great atmosphere. Wonderfull owners that just make one feel at home and make sure you try the different coffees. A must in Salzburg with usually a parking spot near by.
Fantastic coffee, and friendly staff.
Delicious coffee and also snacks, nice staff and cozy to sit
This is a newer 220 Grad restaurant. We went to the smaller one twice for breakfast and learned about this newer and bigger place. Food is fantastic and unique. Service is superb. Very nice surroundings. Make sure you add it to your list of places to eat and visit in Salzburg.
