We only checked reviews after seating. Thank goodness, the unreasonable bad reviews may have meant we avoided this place. That would have been sad because I would have missed out on an exceptional steak with an abundant and delicious sauce. My girlfriend ate perfect calamari. The older gentleman serving us and running around like crazy keeping up turned out to be the boss. A great example for his team.

Good pizza, i chose Lasagna and it was quite nice, the soup was not good though. Dont recommend at all. seems its a cash only place but ask from them if they accept cards or not. Fast service and nice servants!
We found this place after strolling through the winding streets of Salzburg. Mr. Ferdinand runs this 100 year old place set up by Romans. An old man with a friendly smile and running from kitchen to table- this was our encounter with him. Though prior booking is good, he was generous enough to confirm a seat. We had mushroom pizza and veggie lasagna. We have never such a mouth -watering pizza and lasagna in our life. It was too good. we would recommend it to everyone.

A cozy place with lovely hardworking staff. The food was good. You pay for what you get. A place to go if you want to eat quick and not too expensive.
The staff was pleasant, nice ambiance on the evening we went. But the food was definitely not worth the dollars. We got the pizza and the bolognese and both tasted like they’d come out of a can and stuck in the microwave
Cheapest and lovely food in Salzburg. Its very cheap and they were open xmisday and eve. Worth visiting!!!!
Horrible service, bad food. In the table next to ours there were sitting two people, who wanted to order one single pizza for both of them. The waiter refused, and stated that each one must have a separate dish. Moreover a single glass of tap water costs 1 euro, if I can recall correctly. I have also found pieces of hair in my pizza!! The waiter was rude and extremely impatient. Finally they didn't give us a receipt (probably tax evasion?). The best thing about this place was the mediocre food.
