So, we're not huge classic music fans or formal dinner kind of people. That said, we had a blast at the Mozart Dinner Concert. You want to check this out. Folks dress up a bit, but you could get away with a nice sweater and slacks. Go early, maybe an hour, because it is a little tricky to locate the entrance and the seating is first-come, first seated. You sit with a group of people at a large table decorated beautifully and your meal is served and there are little vignetted of classic music operas. You musicians were all young and extremely animated. We didn't understand a word and yet we were entertained the entire time. The architecture is spectacular and the event hall was decked out for the holidays. The price is very, very reasonable for what you get.

Wow, what an amazing night! Some really amazingly skilled musicians and singers, especially considered the price and exclusivity of the event. The room is beautiful, and I would recommend everyone to wear nice clothes to fit with the decorum. The food was quite delicious. Another reviews stated that the drinks were expensive. But the fact is that they serve high quality wines. This is not a place to have a coke with your meal... A special shout out to the head-sommelier; Richard. A fun and warm guy who really added to the whole evening. all in all, this is a must for your Salzburg trip. So skip the sound of music tour, and spend your money where you get the most out of it!
Great experience with reasonable price. We got there 30 minutes early and the “good seats” are almost gone, I think it is better get there 45 minutes early. Some local couple/groups dress very formal. We chose to sit next to the musicians, although the view is not great, we still get good time. The foods are about average.
Fist at all! I can’t thank you enough for making this night an amazing one! Thank you! Thank you! What a magnificent experience, I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday, and when I booked the reservation I had made a note to “please write a happy bday my love” to the dessert course - if possible. They went above and beyond of expectations, first at all, they welcomed us to a beautiful room (you truly feel like royalty here), then Richard (our waiter) did a fantastic job at waiting all tables, he was great, very polite and wonderful to talk to. Second, the staff let me know that they had received my request and will be taken care off. Third, the artist are truly amazing and so talented, this is by far one of the most espectacular concerts I’ve been too, plus it feels like a private show just for you. What I never expected was to have the performers and symphony to sing happy bday and bring a beautiful cake with a fireworks candle, this brought tears of joy to my husband and for this I am forever thankful, you made this a unique experience and I totally made a lot of points here haha.
A must do on any Salzburg trip! Service was excellent, just like that of a Michelin restaurant. Some wines on the menu were a bit above our price point (2000 for the most expensive). So we were lucky to have such a fun and knowledgeable Sommelier as Richard! it really tied the evening together. be sure to wear nice clothes (smart casual) and arrive on time for a good table. The musicians were met with a well deserved standing ovation at the end, what an amazing night!
We had a great time! While the food was simple (but well presented) the highlight was definitely the performances of Mozart's operas by the violinists and Opera singers! We arrived early to secure good seats - you are seated on a first come, first served basis (unless you purchase the more expensive tickets - in that case your guaranteed a good spot!) The Opera singers made the performance engaging, interacting with the audience throughout. Would definitely recommend if you're after a unique experience.
Amazing concert with Mozart's best operas. The performance of the opera singers was great, we enjoyed it a lot. Also the baroque hall from St. Peter is an impressive location and its perfect for listening to Mozart. The dinner was also delicious and the waiters nice and friendly.
Love the interior design. I read some mix reviews before but I had a good experience. The food was better than expected, the music was great (but it would be helpful if I knew what the story was). I think for the price you paid for, the quality of food, environment and the music was worth coming. Highly recommended.
