Absolutely beautiful decor and the food to match! The menu is large, but mostly consisting of variations on sushi, Maki, noodle dishes etc. Also a convenient vegan section on the back so you don't have to worry about ordering the wrong thing if you're vegetable-powered. Some interesting sake based cocktails I haven't seen anywhere else, but the food was certainly the star! Can't wait to go back.

We had a great time in Shanghai Tan. The food was delicious and the waiters are fast and extremly friendly. The menu is vig and i am sure everyone find something special he would like to eat. We also enjoyed the romantic ambiente which they create. When you visit the restaurant you have to register with you mobile device due the corona virus tracking which every restaurant have to do now.
In the beginning the waiter was very friendly and attentive. But the more people were in the restaurant, the less the waiter was around. Didnt ask for a second drink and was really hard to get one. The food was very good!
Perfect place for (romantic) dinner. Try the spicy tofu beef dish or some dim sum and enjoy great cocktails.
Get the fatty tuna. I liked it and the price was reasonable. The sushi is decent but heavy on sauces. The avocado sushi salad is also a plus for me. Also get the duck dish with noodles. Ask if they can make it crunchy too. Overall went here a few times for dinner and I'd highly recommend.
Recommended Thai restaurant in the heart of Vienna. Exquisite and fresh sushi. Not cheap but very good quality food for the prices.
High quality sushi without breaking the bank.
Despite being rated as a top sushi restaurant in Vienna and being absolutely packed, this was very poor quality sushi. The rice was bland, and the fish tasted oily as if it had been caught a week ago and sat out for a day. If you're like me and looking for good sushi even in a landlocked country, this isn't it Helpful staff that was pretty quick considering like 100 people were there that night, so that's a positive
