This comes closest to the flavours I know from living in Japan. Love the place, the staff are lovely, it's unpretentious and simply good food.

really nice restaurant, very friendly people, tried to get me a table even late, no reservation and full, had to wait a short time but was taken care of all the time. excellent service, advise, chose fresh tuna (special of the week), excellent, tapas (edamame, kimchi, octopus) excellent! typical japanese beer, very good, modern and very typical, just right atmosphere, anytime again, perfect place

perfect for a true experience of japanese cuisine (do not expect sushi, maki & co), all dishes were fresh, well seasoned, carefully prepared and delicious. very nice staff there too. only a few adjustments can still be made in terms of comfort (wardrobe, hangers, chairs). it‘s small, make a reservation!

I really really love this restaurant. The atmosphere, the kind and always smiling staff and of course the extremely delicious food! My boyfriend and I regularly come to this place and we are always very happy with the experience. My favourite dishes are takoyaki and the udon ramen :)

Excellent restaurant, food like in Japan for a reasonable price!

Shared a meal with my wife and it was absolutely delicious, we had sashimi and ramen. The venue is quite small so reserving a table is very recommended especially during weekend or busy hours. The staff was very courteous and helpful, we had some questions and we don't speak good German, but they helped us speaking English. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the table we got was quite uncomfortable, but it was because we didn't reserve, so we got the last available table at far corner of the restaurant. Tomorrow we're going back with a reservation and that should say everything about the quality of this place.

I love the original Kuishimbo and was happy to see a second one open. The dishes lacked the depth of flavour that I've come to expect. My udon was bland. Lovely interior. Hopefully they'll get the flavours up to scratch.
