I saw Dr. Bernhard Zillner for some incredibly bad back pain that kept me at home in bed for a few months. As a Canadian in Vienna, it was overwhelming to navigate a new medical system here and find proper treatment. When I met with Dr. Zillner I felt at ease and as though I was under the care of a true expert. The diagnosis was that I had a herniated disc at my L5-S1 joint. After a couple rounds of unsuccessful nerve root injections (not due to any fault of his), we decided that surgery was necessary. I was initially quite skeptical and concerned about the prospect of spine surgery, but trusted Dr. Zillner's expertise. I'm pleased to say that I've been 99% pain free since the day of the surgery. Couldn't be happier with our decision to proceed with the surgery, it's been amazing. It's a great clinic with kind and helpful staff. He's a friendly, caring, and great doctor who has truly changed my life! I would highly recommend him for your back problems.
