Sometimes you dislike a place because of the food quality, sometimes you don't like the atmosphere, sometimes it's poor service. But sometimes it's neither of these - sometimes it's people's behavior and lack of basic human decency that inspire nothing but sorrow and a deep sense of disgust. That's what I have to say about this place. The owner and the staff are indecent and petty people and I feel very sorry that people like this happen to be business owners in public sector of catering services. I personally would never trust them with my food, much less dealt any kind of business with them.

The food was absolutely delicious, the staff is very friendly, and the garden is quite cosy. We really wanted to try the Watalappan dessert, which was sadly out, so we'll definitely be coming back soon!

Food is good ( nothing wowed me, which is what u’d expect giving the pricey bill u’ll end up paying in this restaurant, thus it is fair to say i was a bit disappointment). Service is good.

Ordered there online from time to time, this time i visited this place in person. The service was friendly, the food took a while but it was worth the waiting time. It was delicious.

Wonderful family run restaurant. The mum cooks genuine authentic Sri Lankan dishes. We had hoppers and sambal and kottu and wonderful squid. The son was v friendly as our waiter. It made a wonderfully memorable evening with excellent food and great service. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Fantastic authentic food and good service in a pleasant atmosphere. You also get first hand travel tips. Definitely recommend it!

We had our meal peacefully, wanted to pay and besides the fact that there was a mistake in our bill (waiter charged twice the same thing), the waiter decided to be extremely rude! Terrible racist comments towards their customers, 0 customer service. Shocking that this kind of behavior is accepted and when the manager got involved instead of taking serious measures, he just said “you better leave its not worth it”.

Extremely bad service. Two items were added to the bill which weren’t ordered and then we were shouted at and told by the waiter and the owner he doesn’t like Indians and that we should leave. We paid our bill and when we declined to pay a tip they threatened to call the police and physical violence. We left very quickly, it is in line with a lot of experiences others have had here. Would not recommend at all. They threaten all bad reviews with legal action and also lie about events that happened. Read the comments on their reviews the amount of people who were threatened. It’s worrying how often according to their reviews they have to call the police because of their customers - I’ve never read any restaurant having so many reviews where they threaten customers with police and legal actions. We can’t all be criminals? Desperately lying through their teeth making public accusations. Shameful and sad - restaurant won’t be around for long at this rate. - claiming a 60 year old got violent, when they racially attacked us, and got abusive when we refused to tip them. Really 4-5 of your staff vs a 60 year old man? Funny how somehow so many of your clients and customers seem to have problems with you?
