The food was amazing!!! You should order the beef soup for starter....so delicious!!! But all dishes were delicious! Serve so kind and friendly! Beautiful atmosphere, cozy environment, memorable construction!

Beautiful atmosphere, kind staff and tasty food. The place is a bit pricey and the portions are a bit small, but I guess that is what you expect when you go to a 1200 year old restaurant. My only actual criticism of the place is that they serve no beer.
I will come here again before I die just for the cassis sorbet... A unique experience I will never forget. The white wine is also spectacular and cannot be bought anywhere. Definitely worth a visit!
Very nice atmosphere, high quality food, and great & friendly service. Of course these things don't come cheap & hence, it's on the expensive side of the spectrum. Highly recommended.
A once in a lifetime experience. Some may say it’s the oldest restaurant in Europe. The evening was simply divine! The food was exquisite, the wine was an excellent pair and the cheese oh god! The cheese Pope has hand selected the cheese menu and he has outdone himself. Enjoy it!
Gorgeous restaurant to spend Christmas. The food was nice, not amazing but it didn't matter as the setting was so amazing. Each room is beautifully decorated in Christmas decorations and the place has a real buzz about it. The best part about it was the mini Christmas market they had set up at the front, with tonnes of Christmas trees and a little shop selling Gluhwein. We spent a couple of hours here just admiring our surroundings and enjoying the festive spirit.
Great dinner but be careful not to follow Google map directions. Ask any local and they can direct you but Google maps directed us to go up the stairs to get to the top of the hill, which is incorrect. We went to Christmas dinner which was good but limited to only a few options. The decorations are awesome and very festive. Make sure you check out all the rooms. They have a few rooms that would be great for large groups.
The bread and dishes were fantastic, especially the salad, which has very high quality. However, when we walked in the restaurant, we waited for about 15 minutes and no one asked us if we need seats. They were just busy for something else and passing by us like we were transparent.
