My Husband and I had a wonderful start to our honeymoon at Sunneschloessli Lodge. We checked in on 22 June and stayed for 3 days at the Tower Suite DORNRÖSCHEN. The apartment was spacious, immaculate and beautiful, I could see that Daniela and Frank spared no expense in decorating and making the space comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and very clean. There is a proper dinning area and living room. It was really lovely to just lounge on the sofa and rocking chair with a cuppa of hot drink. Sunneschloessli is conveniently located near the beginning of a popular hiking trail. We literally rolled out of bed and went for a hike on Sunday morning. Everything you need seems to be a short drive away and our hosts introduced us to a few delicious eateries around. The whole experience was so delightfully charming and we felt like we had escaped into a luxurious holiday home. Everything was warm and thoughtful, Daniela and Frank were wonderful hosts. We were reluctant to leave, we felt like we could stay on for a few more days exploring the other hiking trails.
A home away from home We had an unforgettable weekend in this beautifully unique lodge. The moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the owners Daniela and Frank, who welcomed us with freshly mixed cocktails that immediately washed away our exhaustion from the long journey. We stayed in the Biedermeier Suite. Furnished with tastefully selected vintage furniture and decorative pieces, it was cosy and pleasantly composed in style. To our delight, the balcony of the suite opened up to a view of the mountains that fanned out majestically before us. As we explored the various parts of this spacious lodge, we found ourselves walking through layers and layers of surprises: the entrance hall that is guarded by a life-size antique metal armour, the rustic breakfast room that looks out to the garden pool, the spa area that is apt for spoiling anyone, and the Orient Express salon that captivates with its laid-back and mysterious oriental charm. Each room here has been thoughtfully set up with selective furniture and art pieces. It is not only a haven to rest, relax and reminisce in art and history, but also an invitation to travel and discover the world with the owners’ precious collections. After spending a good day hiking up and down the mountains, the natural pool in the garden offered a much welcome relief for our legs. For the less courageous, the indoor steam room and whirlpool are just as nice for getting rid of your fatigue. We also enjoyed a quiet game of croquet in the garden under the warm afternoon sun, and chilling out in the glass-roofed cigar lounge in the cool evening. The purpose of our stay was to relax, do some hiking, and de-stress from our busy working life. At Sunneschloessli, we have discovered more than we could imagine. We did relax, and relaxed with style in the cosiness of a place where we felt at home.
1. das Zimmer ist wunderbar ausgestattet. Vom Balkon aus sind Tierbeobachtungen möglich. 2. Ein brauchbares Fernglas wird im Zimmer bereit gestellt. 3. Das Badezimmer ist komplett neu und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. 4. Das Zimmer ist in einem sehr sauberen Zustand. 5. im Keller steht ein kleiner Wellnessbereich mit Dampfsauna, Whirlpool zur Verfügung. 6. Der Außenbereich ist sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet und es gibt einen Schwimmteich. 7. Das Frühstück ist top, es fehlt an nichts. Wir kommen wieder.
Wir sind nur mal zum anschauen in Bergwandererkluft hin und wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Es gab sogar einen Kaffee zur Unterhaltung mit den Eigentümern, hier kann man sich ja nur wohlfühlen Für kommendes Jahr schon mal fest eingeplant
Ich bin seit über 20 Jahren Stammgast im Sunneschloessli und ich kann nur sagen es ist ein Erlebnis seinen Urlaub dort zu verbringen. Sobald man die Tür aufmacht taucht man in eine andere Welt ein. Die Gastgeber sind mehr als herzlich und zu einem Teil der Familie geworden. Die Einrichtung im ganzen Haus sucht seinesgleichen. Die liebe zu altem und neuen verbunden mit der Architektur fasziniert mich immer wieder. Ich würde 10 Sterne geben wenn dies machbar wäre !
Eine alpine Traumoase die uns nun auch schon seit vielen Jahren und zu vielen Anlässen begleitet. Ein wahrer Bergkristall. Danke Daniela, danke Fritz!
Sehr nette Gastgeberin man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein Traum Frühstück hervorragend und der Wellness Bereich lässt keine Wünsche offen. Freie Parkplätze und schnelles WLAN sind vorhanden. Zimmer sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Bett sehr bequem alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.
