We ate here just before the lock-down and it was A-MA-ZING!! We were blown away by the dishes. It's creative, it's fresh, it's delicious.. Also; the personal is super personal and friendly and the place itself is lovely What's not to love about this place!?!

We ordered the Chef’s Garden Menu and were surprised how fast the food was served. The shared concept for 2 people would even be enough for 3. The food was delicious, nicely done and of high quality. Definitely coming again on my next trip to vienna.

The veranda is very nice, the place looks beautiful but our meal was barely edible and the food is highly overpriced. I have been a vegetarian for 10 years so it’s not like I’m not used to eating vegetables. The appetizers were tasteless, the vegetables are uncooked and no work is made on the texture. It’s basically a plain salad for 10 euros. The main course, the ricotta gnocchi, was awfully bad. I couldn’t even finish it. In addition to that the waiters are rude and unprofessional. We had to ask 3 times for the empty and dirty starters dishes to be removed from the table while we were eating the main course. A waiter removed a quarter-full glass of wine. When paying the check, things became even more difficult as the waiter argued that we should calculate our own bill; and only later changed his mind and accepted to count down the meals in his automated device.

Visited in 2019, great good food and wines. Extensive menu and surprising twists to veggy dishes. Highly recommended. THey have an indoor garden as well to sit!

The food was fine and well presented, but as you see there were some cracks on my plate (main dish). The mushroom soup and the flatbread (Buffalo mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and fresh basil) tested marvelous. The main dish tested fine. The dessert was a bit disappointing. The waiters kept standing over our heads through out our meal even though it was just to make sure everything was fine. We would have appreciated some more privacy.

Here's why you shouldn't go to this place, even if you're fond of vegetarian and vegan cuisine. The choice in the menu is very limited. Prices are way too high for the quality. Looking at the limited selection in the menu, one would expect some gourmet quality. But truth is that dishes were tasteless and even worse. We were a table of six and were all disappointed. I had the 16 gnocchi, which were barely edible (dry and uncooked, no sauce) and I couldn't finish them. The waiters were unprofessional and rude, especially the young one with curly black hair. The older one, bald, was simply unfriendly. Waiters didn't remove our plates after finishing appetizers and before serving the main dishes. We had to remove them ourselves and to ask three times for them to be taken away. We got a half full glass of wine removed from the table and had to ask to get it back. The waiter then asked how much exactly was left in the glass (1/8, 1/4, 1/2) instead of bringing back a full glass. When paying the bill, the waiter argued in a rude way that we had to do the maths ourselves if we wanted to split the bill. We told him several times that this was not our job and he disagreed several times, before eventually agreeing to do his job. An overall unpleasant experience. We were happy to leave the restaurant and we will never come back. In case the restaurant managers of Tian are reading this post, please take note and consider making some changes in your business. The venue is great but the poor food quality and service just ruin it all.
