Nice road to the cottage which is part of old road between Ljubljana and Wiena. It is suitable for families with children. The staff in cottage is very pleasant. The food is local and tasty. It's open over the all year. In winter is really magic.

In the summer this is nice hiking destination for not so skilled hikers. There is a nice view on the top and a cottage. They serve very good tea and local food but prices are abit high than ussualy in mountains. In winter this place is famous for sledding. You have about 20-25minutes of sledding from top to bottom. You can also rent sledges in cottage near by (Karavla).
Lovely austrian style mountain house..very nice as well inside..good tea and some home made food.It takes arround 45 min to walk up and some less for walk down.There is big parking,very good spot for winter sports.
About a 45 min walk to a delicious jota soup! The owner is a very nice person as well. Great views of the mountains in Slovenia and Austria are included!

A small mountain hut on the Old Loibl/Ljubelj pass, near the old border crossing. About 45 min. walk from the base of the mountain and the free car park. Fantastic views! In good weather you can even see Ljubljana. Unfortunately smoking is allowed inside the hut and in such a small place it can really bother non smokers.
