Catrina is an excellent voice teacher: she helps her students set goals, leads them through the steps of proper vocal form, and makes the process itself enjoyable. Personally, she has helped me mature my classical vocal technique and coached me through a year of auditions and performances. She is without a doubt one of the finest voice teachers I have worked with.

Highly recommended. If you want to improve your overall voice performance, Catrina Poor is the coach you want to work with. She has the ability to explain every single nuance when it comes to the art of speaking/singing, no matter how abstract the matter at hand might appear. I'm an academically trained conference interpreter who has been working in the language business for over a decade, and yet Mrs. Poor was able to provide me with an astonishing amount of new information that helped me to improve my performances significantly. To top it off, she is a very kind and funny person. 5 stars!
I‘ve had singing lessons here for over a year now and the experience has been amazing. I went from not being able to sing at all and having no confidence, to singing very difficult songs and not hesitating to attempt things that seem out of my league. It‘s definitely a skill worth learning, not just because its fun and an incredibly useful skill in music, but it helps immensely with self confidence; not being worried to put your voice out there. I would recommend this to anyone, no matter what age or musical skill level.
Not only is Catrina an amazing singer, but also an amazing coach. I have taken lessons with her for almost a year now and plan to continue doing so. She is extremely versatile and can adapt to a great deal of styles and levels. I would absolutely recommend Voice Lessons Vienna.

As many of us, I've always been fascinated by singing and practiced a bit at home while lousily playing 4-chord guitar songs. Nonetheless, I've been under the impression, that unless you're born with a magnificent Ella-Fitzgerald- style voice, you'll never get there. Needless to say I was very wrong! I decided to give voice lessons a try and what I thought was going to be a 4-lesson-trial turned into a year romance with the power of one's voice! Catrina is a great teacher: she provides personalized guidance and critique in a nonchalant manner. Every lesson is great fun and no matter the mood I came with- I always leave empowered, energized and motivated! Very much recommended!
ウイーン旅行中に2回lessonを受けました。 私は合唱はイタリア歌曲を日本でやっていますが、先生のlessonでは歌を歌うことへの気持ちの持ち方を、変えていただきました。歌を自然な気持ちで楽しむという原点に帰ったと言うこと以外にも沢山のことを、たった２回のlessonで余すことなく教えていただき、私の宝ものになっています。 特に私は自分に厳しく、また年齢の事もありつい諦めがちになっていましたが、先生が、「歌はｆｏｒｅｖｅｒよ！」とおっしゃてたことを思い出して調子のいいときも悪いときも、歌を歌っていきたいです。 いつかまたウイーンに行ってlessonを受けられることを楽しみにしています。
Innerhalb eines Jahres habe ich mich, zusammen mit Frau Poor, von Kinderliedern, durch alle Musikrichtungen, bis zu Klassischer Musik hochgearbeitet. Ich merke einen signifikanten Unterschied meiner Leistungen. Ich kann Ihren Gesangsunterricht nur empfehlen.
