WebMUN is Webster Vienna Private University's annual Model United Nations Conference, which is organized by Webster Vienna students with close cooperation with students from across Austria and abroad. Different than most Model UNs, WebMUN created and follows the interconnectivity operating system, in which it tries to simulate the committees as close as possible to reality, having as its goal to simulate and teach our young participants how the current international governmental stage operates and what its challenges and flaws are. We encourage thinking for them selves and provoking them to want to change the system. Our conference slogan is: 'Revolutionizing Model UNs' Being composed of a well-qualified team from over 24 nationalities, WebMUN is in a unique position to organize such an international conference with a special multi-national insight in current energy world issues. What is Model United Nations? Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN is an extra-curricular activity designed for students who wish to place themselves in the shoes of diplomats, politicians, government officials or journalists to discuss current issues and offer new solutions to political, economic or social problems inside the United Nations bodies and other international organizations such as OPEC, European Union, BRICS, G20, and etc.
