Lovely concert, if a little touristy, but amazing experience all-in all, in a beautiful church

St. Anne's is one of the churches around the Historic Centre of Vienna that offers evening concerts for interested visitors. We attended their regular Mozart & Beethoven concert (29 per person) and very much enjoyed the performance. Acoustics are quite good in the small church and your eyes certainly have plenty to enjoy when it comes to the beautiful Baroque interior of this venue. In addition to the fine quality of play, we very much enjoyed viewing the ornately decorated throughout the hour long concert. Note: Tickets can be purchased online if you want to ensure you are able to attend concert on particular evenings. Otherwise, you may be able to secure tickets after arriving in Vienna as well. Note: Entrance is half an hour before performance time. Seating in the small hall is on a first-come, first-serve basis so best to arrive early if you want seat nearer to the front.
Went to a concert here and was amazing. For only 4 people playing it sounded like whole symphony.
Outstanding. Prepare to be transported. There's nothing quite like it.
Players are quite skilled, though they took a while to synchronize - the theme repeat in the first movement was welcome as it gave them another chance at the main theme, having settled into each other. Dynamics were good: quiet especially. Fortes could have been stronger. Intonation sporty in some places. Was surprised by some stylistic choices, for example the excessive sliding and Vibrato. V1 and Clo were very expressive and interesting to watch...V2 and Vla not as expressive. The concert got progressively better, as if they were not warmed up. The encore was pretty terrible and I wish they hadn’t played it and instead ended on a high note.
Atmospherous interior of old Catholic Church with great acoustics. Not so big only 200 visitors.
Wonderful mussik perfect sound and autchentic instrments.
The church is beautiful! but the car concert that was so expensive, considering only 4 violinists and no cello!
