I've been coming to this Trattoria since couple of years now, and it has always had a very fine quality food. Everything is very fresh and tasty. Pizza is thin and good. Prices are very moderate. It is really the best place (at this spot) to have a snack or even a dinner after shopping. Service is relatively quick. Wine list is to be improved though (not that much choice).

I like the fact that they have a smoking section. Food was tasty, staff mostly friendly but slow at times.

Myself and boyfriend are visiting Vienna for a few days and did lots of research for where to eat on a vegan and vegetarian diet. We chose to eat at Don Camillo because of how many great options they had that suited us. I chose the vegan gnocchi and also told the waiter I was vegan (just in case) and my boyfriend chose a vegetarian pizza. We soon received our food and it looked great but unfortunately only warm, not hot. This didn’t bother us much because it tasted very good but my boyfriend pointed out the shavings of something over my pasta. He tasted it and told me it might be Parmesan. When I asked the waiter he came and had a look and took the dish away. It was in fact Parmesan. He offered me a new one and explained how it wasn’t his fault it was “her fault” (I assume the chef) and continued blaming “her” when I explained I’m allergic to dairy also. I decided I didn’t want the dish again as I was taken back that a meal so clearly stated vegan had a cheese on it that not only wasn’t vegan, but also not vegetarian as it comes from the stomach lining of calves. My boyfriend decided to take his pizza for takeaway as the waiter was making us uncomfortable by the constant staring and disapproving looks. I won’t be back here again, it’s absolutelty not worth the stomach aches and the defensive behavior from staff. If I could rate minus 5 stars, I would.

Words fail. We were shown to a table and sat unacknowledged for 30 minutes until we remonstrated with a waiter. The drink we ordered was 'off'. The gluten free meal was 'off' and then the Chicken Caesar salad was served more than 10 minutes after the pizza. No organisation, no leadership, no cutlery and no understanding of service. It was like watching the Keystone Cops...Food was positively ordinary at best.
