Cool location. The cloakroom could be a bit better organized, but otherwise fine.

It looks very good renovated as I was there last time before meny years. I like the colors of the lights, they give couziness to the area. Here I attended the cabaret of Klaus Eckel - Ich werde das Gefühl nie los. A very good and funny show

Is really easy to find even with the public transportation. The location is great for big events such as concerts or for example events like Game4 Changers or the Vienna City Marathon ect. The indoor facility is a little bit irritating and confusing but you can always ask your way around.

Edit: Due to response from Globe.Wien, I'm ameliorating the review to 3 stars. ---------------------------- I wouldn't go there again. Globe.Wien let a long line form outside of Marx Halle, because they were checking tickets at the entry (but they also check tickets again before you enter the main hall). Take a note from Stadthalle, where you can enter inside and the tickets are checked only once before you go into the main hall. Globe.Wien has plenty of room in Marx Halle to relocate the merchandise stands to a side room, so they can let the people into the entry hall, instead of making them wait outside. Globe.Wien does random body searches, which are done half-heartedly, wit the main purpose being to detect water bottles and to tell you to leave them at the wardrobe, so they can sell you half a litre of water for more than 3 bucks. This is obviously not for security, since after that, people go outside to smoke. They also sell beer to already drunk people (one of them puked on the stairs). If you're going to a Globe.Wien event, make sure to check their Facebook, since they don't post relevant information on their website. This is where they announced that the concert we were attending didn't actually start at 2000, but rather at 2115, with a whole hour being dedicated to a pre-band, on a sunday evening. The management should change.

We went to see a Niavarani show, which was very entertaining. The location is cool, the auditorium is built quite steep, so you probably see the stage well from everywhere.

Great atmosphere, good show, bit slow service at the bar.
