While I liked their original location at Einsiedlerplatz somehow better, the one important thing remained the same: the guys there are competent, friendly and seriously concerned about customer satisfaction on all levels. If they don't know an answer for your specific questions, they ask one of the various specialists who will. Always a pleasure to shop here.

Vienna's main store for musicians offering everything from a harmonica to high end studio- and stage equipment including a huge variety of guitars and keyboards. On two floors you get a good experience of \offline\ - shopping and the friendly guys (and girls) take their time to give you advise and to find the right item for you. So if you need special strings for your performance tonight or want to get inspired by the latest keyboard sounds - or simply want to have a real, personal shopping experience Klangfarbe in the Gasometer Vienna is the place to go to.
Very good advice from sales people clearly looking to help and not just to sell. Helpful from the choice till the pickup (the same sales guy takes care of the whole process including putting the instrument into your car outside the shop). Clearly the customer experience has been studied and is well applied. I cannot comment the product array of choice itself as i only come for 1 specific instrument but the Shop is huge.
Good service, big range of guitars, great percussion section, would prefer a wider recorder selection: but you can't have everything. Free parking validation for 90 minutes. Park in Tower c to be close and there is even reserved klangfarbe parking for customers. Good general music instrument selection.
Walked in, looked at all the stunning instruments, asked if a certain bass was available, got a bag to match it and the staff was even nice enough to let me unpack it and stuff it in the bag. Overall a great experience and the bass sounds amazing too.
Klangfarbe is the best music store in this part of Europe. I've been to many stores in neighboring countries and I know that for sure. Also the price is not higher then real is.
Great store with nice staff and lot's of instruments. For guitar and bass players there are even small testing rooms with different amps in them for trying out different instruments without having to be in the middle of the store! Same prices as other large music stores!
