I am happy to recommend Dr. Rihs highly. He provided friendly, informed, timely, and effective assistance in facilitating my application for an Austrian visa. He also provided invaluable advice in related matters.

I truly have never experienced a level of kindness & professionalism like this anywhere else in Austria. My husband and I were devastated when we received news about our immigration case. We frantically started searching for an attorney that could help us. I looked over Dr.Rih's website first, but we decided to call another office in our neighborhood. What a mistake. The attorney on the phone immediately made us feel like we were guilty and were in the wrong.. he wouldn't even let my husband finish his sentences. We ended the call feeling so defeated. My gut reaction told me not to move forward with this attorney and to contact Dr. Rihs instead. I'm so happy we did. From minute one his office made us feel welcome. They clearly communicated every single step of the process--including how much it would cost. And the peace of mind was honestly priceless. I wish we would have just contacted Dr. Rihs years ago when we started this entire immigration process. It would have saved us so much time living in limbo.
I highly recommend the law firm of Dr. Rihs. He is very professional, active and very responsive to help.
Excellent attorney. He has helped me twice to renew my student residence permit and also helped me with a dispute with my landlord. He is quick to respond to any questions, explains all the options clearly, and charges very fair prices. I would recommend any foreigner needing legal help in Austria to work with Dr. Rihs.
Dr Rihs is a live saver and an angel to my family and I. We had been on my family reunion process for a year when he stepped in and within weeks we got a positive feedback. I am still super happy and would forever be grateful to him. I recommend his services to everyone on this journey. Thank you again Dr Rihs.
After seeing significant delays in the family reunification process with the Austrian Embassy in Nigeria Dr. Rihs professional support was invaluable in assuring a positive outcome and moving from a response time of the MA35 and the Austrian Embassy from months into days or weeks at maximum. Dr. Rihs and his team has diligently navigated through challenging conversations, requirements and additional requests from the Austrian Magistrate where I as an impacted individual would likely have lost my temper and caused further delays. At all times I felt my interest perfectly represented while he also calibrated me respectfully to have expectations. Dr. Rihs is also fully transparent with regards to costs right from the beginning and charges very reasonable for the legal support he and his team is for families that suffer from significant or rejection of their visa and title The only regret I have is not having engaged Dr. Rihs half a year earlier, it would have saved myself and even more so my family a lot of headache, costs for multiple travel and stress imposed by both Embassy and Magistrate.
**Be Careful** I've decided for Dr. Rihs based on the good reviews on internet. Unfortunately my experience had been horrendous as a client. Legally I'm not allowed to share any details about my case, but I'm entitled to contribute my personal opinion in this regard. - A law student could do a significantly better job for me compared to Dr. Rihs. - we normally hire a lawyer, because she/he will be able to use a much better (and correct) choice of words. We don't want the lawyer being the silent party at the court hearing and having amateur mistakes during the whole appeal and hearing process. - Beware that your (down-)payment (which is completely based on an assumption) could simply get increased, while you agree on hourly fee. This means that your lawyer can claim that she/he has spent X hours on writing your appeal and there will be no way for you to object or argue against it. - Make sure to ask your questions at once, because you need to pay for every single email/phone call. - The office secretary would get extremely offensive and impolite if you ask about the invoice clarification. - You can face multiple threats to get sued by your lawyer, using your sincere and honestly shared information against yourself. These are just a number of hypothetical scenarios that may or may not happen.
This guy is great and I can't thank him enough for his priceless advice and understanding nature. He is unique.
