Called today to the Hebanmenambulanz around 14:30- 15:00 talked about one appointment for a Besuch of Hospital before my birth date and got very bed customer service experience on the phone. The lady name was (Frau Ehrsholl something in this way) was rude and impatient during our conversation, she explained that there is no any possibilities for appointment where I can get more information about hospital services before my day of giving a birth. I ask about private services, she did not give a proper answer... I understand that appointment for Besuch in der Hebammenambulanz can not be possible however I called 5 weeks in advance but after this phone conversation I got so effected that now I am not sure if they care about their patients in general.... I will investigate about private services because I think they do not care of you with a general insurance of Austria.

On 28 October I had a colonoscopy with Dr Albinni and polyps were removed successfully. It was very smooth and professional medical procedure. I stayed one day at the hospital. Many thanks to Dr Abinni and his team, special thanks to Elisabeth. The team at the station 33 was excellent and very friendly. The whole process was well organised and coordinated. Thank you St. Josef Hospital Vienna.

Best hospital , very midwifery , I had a very positive birth experience except for the episiotomy that was a medical necessity . I want to thank the midwife who accompanied me her name is Magda , she is a great midwife so caring and gentle and understanding person. Also the medical staff I forget the names, and the night and day shifts staff at stationary 23 I think , if I’m not mistaking. I recommend this hospital .

I gave birth to my daughter in June 2019. I cannot say anything but huge THANK YOU to all the staff. Extremely nice and helpful. I am still breastfeeding with no problems thanks to huge help from their amazing midwifes. The birth was a bit more difficult for me but still have nice memories. Thank you for the great work you are doing there and I highly recommend! If I will have a second one, just St. Josef ️

I gave birth to my baby last year there. I had a c section and i can only say positive things. They are all very nice and kind there. They helped me a lot and supported breastfeeding. So St. Josef is my no.1 in Vienna:)

I had the most terrible and inhumane birth experience at this hospital. The female doctor(seems to no longer work there, name ended with \owitz\or so ) who delivered my child via a C-section was extremely rude. After my experience there I had a second child at another hospital and my experience was a very different. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. After sharing my bad experience with other mothers who also delivered at St. Josef, I realized that I was lucky, because their experiences were worse than mine. Their children were deprived of oxygen because the doctors waited too long to take the babies out and now they have life long consequences. Just heartbreaking.

If I recall correctly, I visited your hospital 10years ago. (Near a hostel at the hill) I still appreciate your great care and service. I was an young and poor student and a bit exhausted of my first trip to Europe. Austria was the first place I started my trip. Your hospital was the nearest hospital but I was worried that I could not pay the treatment. After a few medical examinations and nice care, I was recovered from dehydration and you told me “free of charge”, and “come back here any time but good luck to your first trip”. Those warm words still touch me, comfort me and encourage me when I recall Vienna. Not sure the doctor and nurse still work there but I will visit to say thank you again!

I delivered 3 babies in St. Josef, 2010, 2013 and 2015. With my first and second baby randomly I had the midwife (Hebamme) Ingrid Post. She was the nicest person ever.. She has so much patience. I was screaming for like 10 hours with my first one, I felt so bad that she had to listen to me for so long but she made me feel like I was the only woman giving birth ever on this world! She's really God send to do the job she does. I truly admire this woman and wish her all the best in this world! God bless you Ingrid Post!
