Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Vienna. Small and seasonal menu, exactly the way it should be. The ingredients are sourced locally and the high quality is definitely noticeable. If you are a tourist and trying to avoid the scam restaurants (very common around Stephansplatz), serving you a dry Schnitzel for 20, then come here. It'll be worth every cent.

What a great Wirtshaus! Went there for the first time with some friends and the atmosphere and food are just great. Waiters are utterly welcoming and charming and prices are super. Absolute recommendation!

My wife had goulash with dumplings which was wonderful and I had fried calf brain with parsely potatoes. The brain itself was great, well done and tasty. But the potatoes were not warn enough and it felt like they were made a long while ago. We also ordered a dessert - sour cream souffle with warm jam which was wonderful.

Authentic viennese food, with great service and beautiful interiors. The kaiserschmarn (imperial pancakes) were a particular delight. Fluffy!
