Ströck-Brot GmbH is one of the largest Austrian bakery companies based in Vienna. I think the pastries in their regional bakeryshops are very good, which is why I expected very high quality at the flagship restaurant - And my expectations were met. The restaurant is very nice and, above all, very cozy. The service is polite. There is no match for the range - in terms of the pastries but also in terms of breakfast combinations. I had the Eggs Benedict and was convinced of the quality. The French toast and waffles are also highly recommended. The Ströck bakery was founded in 1970 in Vienna-Donaustadt by Johann Ströck, a master baker from Kittsee in Burgenland. His son Gerhard took over the company in 1977 with the help of his mother Hilda, which at the time had just ten employees and was producing in the cellar at Langobardenstraße 9.

I loved the service, everything you will receive it will be tasty. The waitress very polite and kind. Just one thing, you need to book the table because is almost fully reserved.

Tasty breakfast. And I liked how everything was served separately (but really, too many dishes for the small-sized tables!). It was very busy on a Friday morning. Great service, but a little slow on finding someone when we were ready to pay. Although the breakfast was good, it seemed too expensive. I would probably go back for just a coffee. Lovely atmosphere.

Such a gem! This place opens bright and early at 7am for the tourist with the ridiculously early flight, and other early starters. The food here is so good, definitely worth all five the stars. The bacon was super crispy, and eggs fried just perfectly so that you had a little crisp to it with the yolks still being runny. The french toast was definitely the star dish though, served with fresh berries and a light curd meets creme anglaise sauce. Absolutely delicious and not too sweet so you can actually finish this dish. The service is also top notch, the restaurant bright, airy and well decorated!

If you are a fan of brunches come here, if you love fresh bread and a cup of coffee in your mornings join too. If you only want a place with wifi, a good breakfast and work your way through the day? There is free wifi and it’s a super cozy and bright place to be at! I had the French Breakfast, this is: DELICIOUS eggs benedict and a croissant with some jam and cheese. Their ginger iced tea was sooo refreshing it cured my hangover in one sip. Enjoy!!
