Had a wonderful experience at the opera! There were subtitles during the show, but unfortunately only in German. The theatre is beautiful, but had limited places to buy snacks or drinks during the show. The view from the balcony was great. This was a great venue to bring a group of high school students to see their first opera.

I went twice already. Really like this smaller theater. Good productions, good sounds and always amazing shows. The theater is a bit outside of the city center, but for a good show, we can make it!
For all opera lovers a must place to visit. Simple building, but great performance
Mixed feelings about this opera. I had the privilege to attend a wonderful Zauberflöte some months ago and this week the regret to watch, incredulous, a catastrophic Carmen ( no emotion - I barely recognized some arias. On top of that, in German !!!), so far away from the Carmen spirit that I decided to leave the place at the interval - first time in my life.
Attended an entertaining opera - The magic flute. It was not bad. The look inside was nice but the circulation inside the hall was not enough. If it was full house you will be feeling so hot and can’t breath.
Always prefer the Volksoper over the Staatsoper when in Vienna. Completely different experience not to be compared. I attended the premiere of a new production so some photos show the reception they had outside the opera house. Feels quite singular to Vienna. I love it.
Amazing experience. My first time at the opera and I chose the Volksoper for its great value ticket prices and relaxed dress code. I saw La Traviata and loved every second of it. The facility is beautiful and I couldn't fault any part of my evening there.
