To expensive for a family of 4. Are much more zoo's out there with more animals and stuff to do at reasonably prices. The kids loved it though and they've enjoyed the outsides parks.

We were thrilled! I have never seen the animals so close at Schönbrunn or Hellbrunn. My nephew celebrated his 6th birthday with friends (between 5-7 years) Starting with a great private guided tour in the zoo and feeding the animals in the Aquazoo (including petting snakes). We adults loved the homemade lemonade in the cafe too! (Attention in the cafe: payment only possible with cash!) The cafe in the Aquazoo could offer a little more snacks to choose from. I found the selection of frozen pizza boring. Also the cleanliness in the toilet and the cafe could be better. And the great 5D Safari trip, simply a very successful day! The children as well as us were really enthusiastic and exhausted after the great adventure. :-D A small birthday present from the Aquazoo was also given (very thoughtful). We would like to go there again in spring with my nephew. Price/performance still have some room for improvement.

The museum is impressive. Very informative and nice designed. You can travel trough the human evolution until to the future. The zoo itself is quite good but could be have more space for the animals as well as could be more cleaner. There are also some different playgrounds for the kids and in the middle there is a trampolin with a small restaurant.

The new exhibits at the Aqua Zoo are amazing! There is more than just the animals to look at. There is also a lot of history and artifacts from ancient cultures. The traditional zoo never fails to keep you entertained with the variety of animals and exhibits. When you or your little ones need a break, there are plenty of play areas and refreshments!

A really nice zoo for a day with your loved ones or alone. The price can be a bumper, but honestly, it's alright, since everyone who visits regularly will most likely buy a ticket for the whole year. What took off a few points are some of the enclosures. Some are very old, but that doesn't mean you need to let them look like it. There is a great deal of improvement. What wasn't helping is the plantation in the enclosures. Sometimes a good and beautiful mix of the right plants, in other cases pure and other \chaos\, with the bare minimum of work to trim down the plants. Nettles and hazelnut growing rapidly and uncontrolled in some cases, which does not help. All in all, I can recommend a visit there to anyone, I just hope they will improve their enclosures to the benefit of the animals, as well to the visitors.

We had some nice time staying in the zoo. It was a very hot day and so, some animals were hiding and we couldn't see them. Anyhow, there were enough attractions to see.

Costly but really much to see. The Zoo itself is some kind of ancient. The restaurant in the middle of the Zoo is not recommendable. High prices and the meals are lower than average. And the restaurant itself should get a renovation. The toilets are lower average. And why I rated this Zoo with only 3 stars is because of the wooden playground. It's very important for every Zoo to have a very safe playground. And this Zoo doesn't take care of its playground. It stays the same since years. It's in a really bad condition. But however the Zoo itself is fine. And the new museum there is really worth to be visited.

Quaint zoo located in Schmiding, near Linz. As a visitor to town, it was a bit challenging to find transportation which goes to this location. Those with cars may find access to be much easier. The zoo and museum complex itself, however, was easy to find from the main road. Only encountered a few animals as it is still wintertime, but it was particularly delightful to see a herd of giraffe. The zoo is not easy to come by but is worth the visit, if only to spend a quiet day surrounded by nature.
